1 year anniversary and Meyo's bday
Today, the 4th of October 2009, I celebrate my first year of making cards. My first card, was made exactly a year ago for Meyo's bday. And through that year, all sorts of things happened, including wanting to quit (which only lasted a couple of weeks). Anyway, looking back at my old cards, things have improved alot; better material, more practice, following over 40 card blogs...etc
Anyway, I made a couple of cards since I was on the "Meyo's Card" mission. I mostly used elements and paper from the Offbeat collection by basic gray. First, another "Veggie" square card on dark green paper.
Then two funky orange cards, with bits and pieces of patter paper

A cute birdie says "miss you"
A big birthday card with all sorts of offbeat objects
And finally, Meyo's card. Meyo is hard to make a card for, she doesn't like girly stuff, doesn't like flowers, nor butterflies, yet appreciates a good card every once in a while. I wanted to do something colorful that depended on the little details. And for a joke, I had a little fish hanging from the papers. A twin fish sits on the inside of the card
Thanks for stopping by
W Happy Birthday Meyo and Zeww's card making :)

Fruits and Veggies
Who makes greeting cards with fruits and veggies? Me :D
The card below is a long 21.5X11 white cardstock featuring two quirky radishes. I thought it would be cool for a couple who just hooked up. "Two of a kind"
Then this dark green 16X11 fruit card has a tag with an apple on it, perhaps to a friend who loves apples? "My friend".
And another dark green 16x11 card with a "Unique" radish. Either for someone as quirky as I am or someone who appreciates a good joke :)
And finally two brown 16X11 cards for a "great pair" featuring actual pears . Pun intended!
Thanks for stopping by :)
